I had never been in an academy before, and at 15, I was still playing for a grassroots team in Bolton. But BallerXScout saw something in me that no one else had. After attending a Top Baller event in Manchester, I was spotted by BallerXScout and, from there, everything changed. They believed in me, even though I had no academy experience. They sent my profile to 30 clubs in the UK and Scotland, but many didn’t want to take a chance on me.
Then, BallerXScout’s networking paid off — Preston North End gave me a shot. I signed a 3-month contract, but it didn’t work out. However, after a solid performance in a game against Everton FC, the Premier League club took notice and contacted Preston. They invited me for a trial, and after impressing, I was offered a 2-year scholarship.
I wouldn’t have had the confidence or the direction without BallerXScout. They gave me the knowledge and support I needed to be ready for every opportunity that came my way.
